The more I program for OS X the more I'm excited how powerful its API is. But... There's no even tenth part of that software which is for Windows platform. And the reason is very simple. Big complicated software appreciates stability of the platform. No-one will begin developing hundreds man-year software products if platform deprecates some features every couple of years.
